Parador offers a small production Tempranillo wine produced from fruit grown in the Napa Valley at the Rancho Chimiles Vineyard. The wine shows a dark/opaque garnet red core that fades nicely to a more ruby colored rim. The nose is treated to deep aromas of blackberry, plums, spice and leather. These distinct flavors follow through to the palate. The spicy flavor bodes well in this stringy body that possesses a firm consistency. The fine drying tannins and racy acidity round out this wine. The long finish parts a bit crisp. Overall, this wine is good, balanced and developing nicely.
