Starry Night's 2003 Wilderotter Vineyard from Amador County shows a ruby red color. On the nose the aromas of ripe berries, spice (nutmeg & cinnamon) and sweet smoke will entice you to taste this wine. Rich berry flavors balance well with an ample body. The tannins are silky fine - a touch drying and the acidity is zesty. This powerful Zinfandel boasts intensity and balance along with a warm generous rather persistent finish. Approximately 310 cases made.
