Domaine André Vatan has done a fine job with their 2003 Les Charmes Sauvignon Blanc. If you love crisp refreshing Sauvignon Blanc look no further. The 2003 vintage has a beautiful clear light lemon-green color that fades to clear at the rim. The nose is treated to refreshing clean aromas of lemon citrus and light herbs and a hint of asparagus. In the mouth, the wine has lively acidity balanced with flavors consistent with the aromas. A medium body wine with 12.5% alcohol, the Les Charmes parts with a medium long finish.
