This is one of my favorite week day reds. Rosenblum
consistently produces this cuvee from a blend of wines from
select regions within California. Quality versus value has
always been well balanced with their Vintners Cuvee. The
dark ruby color gives way to the jammy berry nose of fruit
and peppery spice. Subtle aromas of fruitcake and cassis
also wafted from the glass after a few minutes of breathing.
This wine is a crowd pleaser with no worries about tannins
to make your mouth dry or pucker. The Cuvee is a very
quaffable wine and pairs with loads of spicy foods. |
