Tempranillo is the grape that puts the backbone into many of Spain's great wines. Artesa has done an excellent job with their 2004 bottling of this wonderful varietal. The wine possesses a dark ruby core that fades to a rose rim. On the nose are ripe berries, spice, smoke, perfume and leather. The wine has fine grained tannins along with lively acidity. Its ample body provides supple consistency offering the palate a youthful and delicious tasting experience. | |||||||
