A delightful Sauvignon Blanc is the Freemark Abbey 2005 Napa Valley offering. The wine shows a clear straw yellow color. On the nose the aromas of grapefruit mix well with hints of butterscotch, vanilla and herbs. The flavors follow the nose and the wine's zesty acidity provides excellent backbone while keeping the wine nicely balanced. It parts with a generous lengthy finish showing its youthfulness while being delicious at the same time.
