| There is plenty of drinking enjoyment yet again with the
release of the 2005 Marquis Philips Shiraz. The wine shows
its usual opaque purple ruby core - color that oozes with
richness! On the nose the wine has aromas of jammy
blackberry and peppery spice along with smoky toasty oak.
One of the things I like about this wine is its mouth feel -
rich and fleshy. Plenty of ripe berry fruit flavor covers
the palate from front to back. It keeps its balance with
fresh acidity and rounded integrated tannins. It parts with
a persistent finish and is oh, so delicious. |
