Tranquility is as free from worry as Holly's Hill's
Tranquille series of wine, either red or white, both of
which are easy, comfortable and very enjoyable. The 2004
Tranquille Blanc is a blend of Viognier (70%) and Roussanne
(28%), all estate fruit from their Sierra Foothills Winery.
The wine shows a lovely color of straw that is clear and has a hue of yellow. The nose is full of wonderful aromas ranging from apricots, citrus, and floral to honey, vanilla and spice. In the mouth, the full body is full of tactile enjoyment. With a fleshy consistency the wine has a defined backbone of lively acidity. Flavors follow the nose. The wine crosses the palate with a rich structure and parts with a lingering finish. Certainly a wine many will love and appreciate. |
