The Dutton Ranch is a classic example of California
Chardonnay produced from fruit carrying a renowned
pedigree. Their 2003 vintage shows a clear yellow color. The nose is treated to luscious and creamy aromas of ripe apple, fig, honey, vanilla and a touch of butter. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and the flavors follow the nose nicely. There is enough acidity to keep the palate fresh, and even some light wood grain tannins provide structure. With a lingering finish and rich consistency, this Chardonnay will earn many fans. |
