| Opaque is often times beautiful - especially when talking
about wine. In comes Trentadue's 2003 La Storia Petite
Sirah. Not only opaque, but wearing sun glasses! Its opaque purple core that fades slightly to a violet rim will grab your attention. The nose is full of bramble berries, chocolate, spice and earthiness. In the mouth, those aromas turn into delicious taste. A thick body shows powdery tannins that are integrated and smooth. This wine has a rich consistency, powerful intensity and a harmonious complexity. Everything one could want in an outstanding Petite Sirah. |
