The winemaker at Cline has done a masterful job of producing this outstanding Syrah. The fruit comes from their 18 acre hillside estate vineyard in Sonoma. The wine has a deep ruby color and an aroma that jumps out of the glass and grabs your nose. Plenty of ripe cherries and stewed plumbs intermingle with savory meaty aromas. On the palate the flavors follow the nose. But the real enjoyment is the mouth feel of this wine. It nestles in and covers the palate like a silky blanket. Powerful even ethereal, yet sensuous the finish lingers with satisfaction. Fortunately Cline produced 3900 cases of this wonderful wine.
