Gallo Family's 2004 Pinot Gris is produced from Sonoma County fruit. The wine shows a light clear champagne color that fades to a watery rim. The nose is full of nice, clean and youthful aromas of citrus, mainly lemon/lime with some hints of pear as well. The mid-weight body envelops the palate with a viscous consistency, crisp lemon flavors and refreshing acidity. The wine is well-balanced and parts with a clean, yet lingering finish, saying good-bye with a touch of warmth.
