The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve shows a dark garnet core
with a mahogany rim. Aromas of blackberry, black currant,
anise, black olive and hints of bacon dance around the glass
when nosed. In the mouth, the flavors follow through. The
wine offers refreshing acidity and light smooth tannins.
Flowing balance keeps the wine interesting as its stringy
body parts with a delicate intensity. Agreeable and good
overall, this Cabernet is ready to drink. |
