It is hard not to like Cline's Small Berry Mourvedre. Their
2002 release is big, tasty and begs to be paired with some
spicy food. The wine shows a dark ruby core that fades to a
light ruby rim. The nose is treated to aromas of dark plums,
cinnamon and clove along with hints of barrel toast. A solid
structure of powdery tannins provides fine astringency in an
ample body. Lively acidity keeps it fresh and tight all the
way to a most generous finish. This wine shows a
concentrated intensity and is very agreeable overall. |
