This has been a weekday red favorite of mine for several
years. It has always been consistent and offers very good
value. The 2004, as it turns out, is really a cut above when
it comes to Italian Sangiovese wines that can be bought
under $10. The wine shows a medium ruby color and offers aromas of cherries and raspberries along with spice and a hint of earthiness. The wine has a medium body and the flavors follow through from the nose. With refreshing acidity, the wine just begs to be paired with some of your favorite neighborhood pizza. Don't miss this jewel when looking for inexpensive wine not lacking in quality. |
