There is no disappointment in the 2004 Grenache from Holly's Hill. The wine shows a moderate ruby core with shades of purple around the rim. The nose is treated to wonderful aromas of jammy strawberries and plums along with mingling hints of perfume and violets. In the mouth the wine expresses its rich fruit flavors in an ample body with adamant intensity. The tannins are balanced, slightly drying, and along with fresh acidity, give this wine an elegant structure with flowing balance to a solid lingering finish. Harmonious complexity and a mellow consistency make this a top notch Grenache.
