Marquis Philips 2002 Sarah's Blend is full of hedonist delight. A rich opaque ruby core fades to an orange rim. The nose is treated to intense aromas of ripe plums, wood, earth and smoke. In the mouth, the wine has a silky feel that's almost fleshy. Along with rich ripe fruit flavors and supple smooth tannins, one hardly wants to swallow. However a generous lingering finish is nothing short of lip-smacking good.
