This inexpensive Pinot Noir comes close to getting a good rating. The color is brick red with a touch of orange hue around the edge. Aromas of perfume, clove, black tea and spice are distinct, developed and enjoyable. A medium bodied Pinot Noir, the flavors of black cherries are delicate while the acidity is tart and the tannins are drying. This gives the wine an angular structure with a short finish. However, considering the price and a future vintage that shows more fruit, I think this will be a good week day Pinot Noir.
