Wow! The general consensus when we opened this bottle of wine. The wine sports a wonderful dark ruby color that points to its richness. The nose is treated to a blend of aromas that just don't stop. Licorice, blackberry, perfume, cedar and menthol all waft out of your glass with a few swirls.

Sebastiani produced this wine with the following blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Zinfandel. The wine has rich fruit flavors and the mouth feel is great. Silky, velvety tannins are well balanced giving the wine no bitterness or astringent attributes. An ample, almost fleshy body supports the concentrated intensity of aromas. With a refined complexity, Sebastiani has produced a Cabernet Sauvignon that is rich and intense yet the generous finish is smooth and sound.

Pairing this wine with a good cut of beef will not leave you disappointed. Fortunately there were 3400 cases produced so stock up while it is still available.
