The 2003 Frei Brothers Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is
produced with fruit from the Alexander Valley. The wine
shows a medium to dark ruby core. The nose is treated to
aromas of black currant, toasty oak along with hints of
clove, cedar and mint. In the mouth the powdery tannins
provide a lightly drying effect. The wine has an ample body
with a firm consistency. The finish is dry with a medium
length. Good value overall. |
