Malbec from Argentina has long been a favorite of mine. The
2004 Terrazas Reserva Malbec delivers plenty of varietal
Malbec style and is a good value overall. The wine posses a
medium to dark ruby color. The nose is teaming with aromas
of blueberries and blackberries along with some anise and
barnyard notes. The persistent intensity found in the nose
follows through to the palate nicely. Showing a youthful
sinewy body, the deep intense flavors are supported by a
backbone of drying tannins along with fresh acidity. Next
time you are looking for good value and good wine this
Malbec is a fine choice.
