This wine is owned and made by the great second growth Pichon-Lalande. The wine shows a dark ruby/purple color. The nose is treated to plums, berries, black currants and earthiness. On the palate, the wine is quite pleasing and offers silky tannins and low acidity. The ample body has ripe flavors that follow the nose. A supple consistency shows plenty of youthfulness. It finishes with a nice concentrated intensity reminding the senses of its rich and sensuous attributes.
