Ok, I will try not to sound like a broken record if you have been reading other Rosenblum reviews I've published here at PinoVino. They definitely have the style and passion for single vineyard wines, and the 2003 Hillside Vineyard Syrah is no exception.

Showing a dark nearly opaque core, the ruby/purple liquid in my glass possesses an enticing richness. Aromas of blackberry and spice roll out of my glass with abundance. This wine definitely sports a full body with deliciously rich flavors that follow the nose. Smooth gripping tannins mingle with fresh acidity sending the wine through mid-palate with a lengthy warm finish - warm in the sense of alcohol coming in at 15.3%. Plenty of fruit keeps this wine balanced and high up the hedonistic scale, so enjoy all you can drink!
