Are you looking for a wine that provides a mouthful of delicious? A wine where you can buy several bottles - even a case - since the price to yum ratio strongly favors the yum side! Well look no further than Ledgewood Creek's 2004 Rhone Blend.

This wine is a blend of 63% Mourvedre, 21% Syrah and 16% Grenache - all estate fruit. It starts off with a dark ruby core that holds its color all the way out to a purple/ruby rim. In the nose, the wine is full of aromas of blackberry, black cherry and blueberries. Thrown in for good measure are a touch of spice and smoke. The palate is treated to ripe fruit up front, seemingly sweet, yet fresh acidity clears that up by mid-palate. The wine shows light smooth tannins, providing flowing balance in a body that has a soft silky consistency and a lingering finish that holds your interest for an another taste. With concentrated intensity of aromas, flavors and an agreeable complexity, this is one smooth and enjoyable Rhone blend. Stock up and drink now.
