The 2001 Garys' Vineyard lives up to the quality fruit we've come to expect from this vineyard. One of several producers sourcing fruit from Garys' vineyard, Bernardus has done a wonderful job producing this vintage.

The wine shows a medium ruby core that fades to a ruby/orange rim. The nose is treated to aromas of cinnamon, black plums, clove and dried herbs. The plum flavor follows through to the palate. With light tannins that are slightly drying and crisp acidity, the wine has ample body with flowing balance and an elegant structure. The generous finish parts with pure developed intensity. Overall this is a best of breed. Enjoy!
