buying from the right producer. The 2004 Cakebread Cellars
Napa Valley Chardonnay fills the bill nicely. The wine shows
a clear lemon yellow color. The nose is expressive with
notes of citrus, pear and pineapple along with a touch of
yeast. Lemon flavors give the palate a pleasing coat that
tends to linger. The wine's medium body and zesty acidity
