The 2002 Silverlake Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent
choice when looking for a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon.
Showing a dark/opaque ruby/black core, the wine fades to a
ruby rim with hints of purple showing as well. On the nose,
aromas of blackberry and plum mix harmoniously well with
cedar and meaty smokiness. The distinct aromas follow
through in the mouth providing plenty of flavors. Fine
grained tannins provide a smooth mouth feel in a medium
body. Acidity is fresh and the finish is generous. Overall,
this is a good quality Cabernet Sauvignon I can highly
recommend. |
