| Polished and delightfully tasty Chardonnay is something that
Grgich Hills does exceeding well. Their 2000 Chardonnay is
no exception. The wine shows a medium yellow gold color. On
the nose, distinct aromas of lemon zest mingle around with a
blend of tropical fruit and a light touch of vanilla. In the
mouth the wine has robust citrus flavor along with a rich
consistency. The zesty acidity is wonderful and with ample
body the wine boasts distinct intensity providing a
harmonious complexity. Overall, this wine is a smooth and
distinguished Napa Valley Chardonnay. |
