Michael and David Phillips have released a Syrah that shows
well and is a solid crowd pleaser. This Syrah has a clear,
dark purple ruby core that fades to a youthful purple rim.
The nose is inviting revealing concentrated aromas of
blackberry and spice with a hint of black cherry and
blueberries. The palate is greeted by fresh acidity, rounded
smooth tannins, a medium body and pronounced flavors of
blackberry. Alcohol at 14.8% is warm on the long finish.
This is a good quality Syrah that the sensuous desiring
palate will find plenty of pleasure with! |
