Bubbly is not just for special occasions. I feel one should
drink sparkling wines just as frequent as they do still
wines. In keeping with that Domaine Chandon is a quality
producer of California sparkling wines. Their Brut Classic is produce "Methode Traditionnelle" meaning the juice from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Meunier were blended and ferment in this bottle for 18 months on the yeast. The result is most enjoyable. The clear Champagne color dances with lively sparking bubbles. Aromas of apple and pear blend with flavors of bread and nuttiness from the bottle fermentation. This sparkling finishes clean and dry. |
