Always producing outstanding wines, winemaker Miro Tcholakov
has done an excellent job with their 2002 Sonoma County
Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine shows an opaque ruby core that
fades to a shade of purple on the rim. On the nose, aromas
of violets, blackcurrants, nutmeg, spice, toast and anise
are present. The palate is treated to like- flavors wrapped
with integrated tannins that offer a sensuous drying effect.
With fresh acidity, the wine is harmoniously balanced
keeping its rich body in shape while still allowing its
mellowed consistency to show through. With plenty of fruit
and structure, the wine is still developing allowing cellar
time before enjoying its distinct intensity and refined
complexity. That is if you can wait! |
