| Dessert out of a wine bottle can be as good as any dessert
you've ever had. A case in point is the 2003 Late Harvest
Riesling from Madroña. This wine shows a lovely medium
yellow gold color. On the nose, intense aromas of apricots,
baked apples, honey and orange peel may make you salivate
like Pavlov's dogs. The rich flavors follow the nose in a
body that's thick and rich whilst showing an elegant
structure. With unctuous sweetness and harmonious balance,
the wine lounges around with pungent intensity and ethereal
complexity. Overall, this is a richly delicious Late Harvest
Riesling. |
