| Whidbeys is part of Chateau Ste. Michelle and has been
producing a vintage dated port since 1983. Their 2000 starts
off showing a dark ruby core that fades to a purple/ruby
rim. Concentrated aromas of chocolate and cherries blend
enticingly well with hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is
treated to consistent rich flavors of chocolate and
cherries. The alcohol is 19% and helps provide the unctuous
body that slinks across your tongue parting with a very
tasty and generous finish. |
