Trentadue Winery  Cuvee 32  Blended Red Mike Taylor Excellent  2003  $32.00
Miro keeps the quality coming - especially in the La Storia line of Trentadue wines. The Cuvee 32 is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, showing a dark ruby core that fades to a purple rim. The nose is treated to blackberries, licorice, chocolate and fruitcake along with hints of nutmeg, almond, spice and vanilla. Sound delicious? Well it is. It jumps on the palate with vigor delivering luscious flavor all over your palate. Smooth balanced tannis accent an already rich body. Lively acidity tidies up on the parting, which is generous and persistent. Everything is in a harmonious balance that shows complexity, smoothness and plenty of sensuous overall. You will love this wine!
